Supplier catalog readiness: make product data reusable before the buyer asks

Product data is not ready because it exists somewhere. It is ready when the team can answer a buyer, agency, or operator request without rebuilding the same package by hand.

Supplier catalog readiness — product data sheets, asset and catalog binders, and a product catalog grid on a tablet.

What to inspect

Normalize the product core

Confirm product names, brands, categories, sizes, variants, pack formats, ABV where relevant, descriptions, distributor notes, and lifecycle status. Inconsistent naming is usually the first signal that submissions will be hard to compare.

Attach the commercial evidence

Keep sell sheets, product images, tasting notes, certifications, presentation decks, and source documents close to the catalog record. Buyers should not have to ask three times for the same supporting material.

Document pricing assumptions clearly

Pricing is market-specific and can require human review. The goal is not blind automation; it is a cleaner path for identifying what price applies, what source supports it, and what still needs confirmation.

Build reusable submission packages

The output should be a repeatable buyer-ready package: structured fields, assets, source documents, notes, and any exceptions that require follow-up.
